Wollongong children at the WEN day

In May the Wollongong Environment Network (WEN) held a gathering of Stage 3 primary students with their teachers for inspiration, sharing, planning and collaboration around environmental issues, exploring ways that we can all contribute to care for our common home. 

An important part of the day was commissioning the students to become ‘Eco Ambassadors’ adding a student voice to the WEN and to encourage the students to lead ecological conversion and environmental actions back at their schools.
