Let us pray that – as the people of Timor L’Este celebrate the seventh anniversary of becoming an independent nation – community leaders in their country, as well as here in Australia, and in the wider world, will work with us all to build a safe, just, world . . . (pause)

As we anticipate the International Day for Biological Diversity next Friday, let us pray for all who devote their efforts to ensuring we safeguard threatened plant and animal species, including scientists, farmers, and people involved in local community gardening initiatives . . . (pause)

Let us pause, and hold in prayer children and other young people where we live and work, . . . (pause)
